…and the crab pickin’ has begun
Around ten am today, at Bay Hundred Seafood - five pickers at work. With fingers flying, chunks of crab were neatly piling up a thousand times faster than I could ever do it. My mouth was watering in McDaniel this morning.
Virginia’s crab season opened with a major bang on March 19th – an unprecedented heavy early crab harvest. And on April 1st, the season opens here. YES, I’m ready.
There is nothing on the face of the earth like the sweet taste of Blue Crab. Nothing.

I’m ready too and I agree!
Love the crab photo!
Incredibly early this year! Both unnerving & exciting.
