Wait till you read this story on the Paris Review written by a member of the Bounty’s crew – that’s the tall ship that sunk in Hurricane Sandy, not so very long ago and not so far from here. Crew members jumped into life suits and rafts in the middle of the hurricane, and the captain has not yet been found.
Who knew they had a writer aboard, to tell this story in a way nobody else could?
