Making Christmas pasta with Carol – beats Christmas cookies any day!

Yum. A quick morning of pasta making at the farm – some with pesto and some without. Carol’s kitchen aid pasta attachment makes it quick. The dogs lay in front of the fire and watch….we step over them, back and forth. Nothing more simple and delicious – fruity olive oil, parmesan, fresh pasta. I have zero interest in making any darn cookies, thank you very much. Thanks Carol, for another fun run in your kitchen!

“….And say goodbye to Tom Turkey”, she says……… do you see him, below – on the left, tip toeing around the side of the barn? He’d better do some tip toeing…… right on outta there, if he’s smart. Merry Christmas, indeed. It reminds me of a cartoon in this week’s New Yorker – four chickens talking among themselves, one says “We’re free range. Why not run for it?”

  1. That is it. That barn is perfect. That is my house.
I love reading your posts. You should write a book.

  2. Hmmmm….good idea……Charles – that barn IS perfect. You oughta see the second floor – fabulous – 2 bedroom living space with a fantastic kitchen, waterviews, of course – all around. Come see me and we’ll visit.
