Elf Classic, part Two

Saturday was a perfect May day, and the race got off to a great start in Annapolis. As the day went on, the wind didn’t really comply, the race ended up being called out on the River, and the sailboats all motored in. For spectators, it was a grand day to hang out on the campus of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, and the Inaugural Elf Classic got a terrific start. Some 13 classic yachts participated. The awards were handsome, the food and drink was plentiful and delicious, and everyone had a grand time.  Zip came along (and passed the test, with only two freak-out episodes, which is pretty good for her).  Congratulations Elf!
