Oyster restoration – or NOT – in New Jersey

Check out this unbelievable story and video. Oysters placed for restoration are being REMOVED from the Raritan River in NJ, thanks to the NJ State Dept. of Environmental Protection. This is from my Uncle Richie in New Jersey – thank you for sharing!

If anyone understands how this makes sense, let us know. Uncle Richie calls it “banging your head against the wall trying to knock it down”.  I’d have to agree. Why doesn’t New Jersey say – “It’s been proven that cigarettes kill people, so we’re going to ban sales of cigarettes in our state”.

Hmm. They don’t say that, do they?

No. They’re going after the oyster restoration efforts instead.
