Goose Eve

Goose Eve in St. Michaels is a local tradition. People pull the last goose out of the freezer, cook it up and take it to town – to the Carpenter St. Saloon. Dressed in their best camouflage clothing, it’s a big ol’ party to celebrate the eve of the new goose hunting season. Around here, goose season is a BIG deal.

 This is where I tasted my first goose, duck and bear stew! And here’s a little piece in the Talbot Spy:
