Let’s Be Shore Video Portrait – Annabel Lesher, waterfront homeowner

Here’s the first of a group of video portraits – part of the Let’s Be Shore project of the Maryland Humanities Council. The goal of this project is to initiate dialogue among Shore residents about the issues we all have to deal with to address the challenges of development pressures, pollution, land use, and water quality.
Waterfront homeowner and long-time resident Annabel Lesher talks about living along the banks of the Miles River. She reflects on changes in the area and environment has changed in her lifetime, and discusses her personal efforts to become an active and engaged citizen regarding water quality issues.
