Halloween in St. Michaels

St. Michaels is known for Halloween spirit and fun – last year, some 600 kids were said to trick or treat the streets of this little town. At the Menditch’s home on Chew, the lights were turned off after 390 candy bars this year. That’s a lot of kids! Chew and Chesnut streets were the heart of it all, and I enjoyed sitting on Hilary Henry’s porch, watching the scene. The adults had as much fun as the kids. Here’s a peek.

  1. Kathy, I love these pics. Glad to know you weathered the storm. Take Care! Anne

  2. Seems that someone here in Denton in Caroline County had the power to tell us Halloween will be this coming Saturday Nov. 3rd. I hope they told the ghosties hovering on the other side of the veil. I wanted to say Boo but kid doesn’t care. And to think, we coulda hit St. Mikes and our town and had double the haul. Darn.
