NO hugs, NO cupcakes, NO parties in St. Mary’s County Schools
This is over the top. A Maryland school district cuts off any fun with overzealous, overprotective restrictions on what can and can’t happen in local public schools. This news is from St. Mary’s county, on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. My sister lives in this district, and her ten year old daughter is affected by this decision. Do you believe it?
The good news is that the district says that the decision is not final, and they’re open to feedback. Let’s hope common sense prevails.
