Crab season? Not quite yet….

Maryland crab season began this week. but the water temps are too cold for local watermen to start catching them.

Most crabs are still hunkered down in the mud, way at the bottom of the Bay says the Dept. of Natural Resources. Until the water temp increases, we’re just going to have to wait.

Like fresh tomatoes from the garden, sweet corn and local strawberries, some things are just plain worth waiting for.  Summer foods in Maryland – NOT here yet (sigh).

But just hang on…
