…are so much more fun when they’re made with friends. It was cold and rainy outside, but warm and humming in the village hall. Every sort of paper, heart, tape, ribbon, marker, crayon, cut out, sticky, candy, staple, image, and sequin was set out to inspire expressions of love and appreciation.

Thank you Patti, for your unending enthusiasm for all things creative, community and artsy. We miss you, Martha and Jim!

  1. Thanks for being there, Kathy… your pictures capture Claiborne and the pleasure of being here so beautifully….

  2. What a lovely, storybook village – that Mayberry. I remember visiting you and Kev back when the church was vacant and forlorn looking – yet its potential was so vividly evident; a beautiful little church house, suspended, seemingly searching for someone to adopt and care for it. I’m so happy to read your many stories and photos of it’s rebirth as Village Hall. My sincere appreciation to the Church (I wish I could remember which one) that agreed to release the property to Claiborne for this purpose – it’s really a great success story.

  3. Johnny – you are so right on!
