spring roll on the Shore

…the other kind of spring roll – not the one you eat, but the one you experience.

Early sunrises and sunsets at the dock, freshly mown lawns, boats rolling into town, tourists walking the streets. Crabcake stands on Rt. 33, tractors on the back roads. Foxy’s marina bar opening day and the first party of the season at Pot Pie Farm! Annual opening day of St. Michaels FRESHFARM market with fresh pea shoots and those greenhouse tomatoes. Taste tasting new flavors at Justine’s Ice Cream. Rachel Vecchio’s salty brownies and other yumsters from the Route 33 Baking Company. Turtles crossing roads and osprey dropping long sticks.

Wind, tulips, dandelions, mulch.

It’s here!

  1. Summed up nicely and perfect, Kathy!

  2. From what I can tell, you are eating righteously my friend Kathy. Happy when you’re happy.
    Love,
