Krista Tippett coming to Easton’s Avalon Theatre

I’ve been listening to Krista Tippett‘s fantastic public radio show On Being, and its previous iteration Speaking of Faith, for what feels like 20 years. It’s fabulous. We’re so lucky that she is coming to Easton in November for an onstage conversation with tech entrepreneur Anil Dash. Tickets are cheap – $15 for general admission and $35 for general admission and an autographed copy of Krista’s beautiful new book Becoming Wise. Their conversation will be about civility in technology. We could use some more civility in everything, especially technology, these days. I can’t wait!

Here’s a link to a Ted talk on compassion Krista did in 2010, and a Washington Post story about her new book from earlier this year.

If you’re a public radio fan and live anywhere around Delmarva, you’re going to want to come to this. Click below for tickets.
