I was recently given this blog from a nurse while in the hospital. My great grandfather was Captain Bozman the Lightkeeper of the Hooper Strait Lighthouse in the early 1900’s. I am attempting to locate relatives of his. My grandmother, Jennie Alexander, nee Bozman, was born on the lower eastern shore. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Debi – I trust you have the good folks at the (CBMM) Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum looking out for these relatives? Let’s get them in on your search. Thanks, Debi – and I hope you can find some of your relatives. I love the displays and recorded stories inside the Hoopere Straight Lighthouse at CBMM – some of those stories are your grreat-grandfather’s! How cool is that?
